| Pompeo Pontone è un consulente professionista attivo nel settore dell’Investment Management e Capital Markets da oltre 25 anni. Si laurea con lode in Economia Monetaria e Finanziaria presso l’Università Bocconi di Milano e a Londra consegue il Master of Science in Quantitative Finance del Birkbeck College, University of London. Avvia la sua carriera presso la sede londinese di Stone & McCarthy Research Associates come analista di ricerca. Ritorna in Italia nel 1996, a Milano, dove assume per Unicredit il ruolo di Fixed Income Analyst, mentre nel 1998 è a Dublino dopo aver ricevuto la nomina a Vice President e Senior Fund Manager di Pioneer Investments, società specializzata nella gestione di fondi. Dal 1999 al 2010 passa attraverso diverse esperienze, prima con Intesa Asset Management (oggi Eurizon - Intesa San Paolo) come Director-Co-Head of Credit Portfolios & Asset Management, poi come Managing Director - Head of Corporate Bonds & Credit Derivatives Asset Management di Fineco Asset Management e infine presso la sede londinese di BMPS con il ruolo di Managing Director - Head of Corporate Bonds & Credit Derivatives Proprietary Trading. Prima di diventare consulente, sempre a Londra è prima Managing Director - Head of Alternative Investments and Asset Management di ALTIAM - Amstel Securities LLP fino al 2011 e poi Senior Financial Advisor per la Method Investments & Advisory Ltd. Grazie alle esperienze in Unicredit, Pioneer, Intesa, Fineco, BMPS e alle forti competenze in economia finanziaria, finanza quantitativa, econometria e processi stocastici, Pompeo Pontone si è specializzato nel trading dei derivati, partecipando a diversi progetti di Data Science, FinTech, Blockchain e Private Equity, e sfruttando il suo forte interesse per le scienze statistiche e la sua buona conoscenza dell’informatica, in particolare della programmazione (Java e Python). | |

| Pompeo Pontone is a professional investment specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the fields of Investment Management and Capital Markets. He graduated with honors in Economics from the Bocconi University in Milan in 1994, and continued his studies abroad, obtaining a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from the Birkbeck College (University of London). After this experience, he came back to Italy and joined Unicredit in Milan, where he served as a Fixed Income Analyst and contributed as well to “The Italian Treasury Bond Guide” and “Investment Strategies: Financial Newsletter” publications. In 1998 he moved to Ireland to join Pioneer Investments, a Dublin based firm specializing in investment funds management, holding the role of Vice President and Senior Fund Manager. His following professional experience was in Intesa Asset Management (known today as Eurizon - Intesa San Paolo), where in 1999 he was named Director - Co-Head of Credit Portfolios & Asset Management. He continued his career in the financial world between 2001 and 2010, when he held top management roles at investment institutions. He was first appointed Managing Director - Head of Corporate Bonds & Credit Derivatives Asset Management at Fineco Asset Management (2001-2002), and then Managing Director - Head of Corporate Bonds & Credit Derivatives Proprietary Trading of BMPS in London (2002-2010). He continued to work in the capital of England until 2012, serving first as a Managing Director - Head of Alternative Investments and Asset Management at ALTIAM - Amstel Securities LLP and then as a Senior Financial Advisor at Method Investments & Advisory Ltd. Pompeo Pontone specialized in trading of financial derivatives and is active in projects concerning Data Science, FinTech, Blockchain and Private Equity. Actually, he works as a consultant and investor, applying his skills in stochastic modeling, financial economics, quantitative finance, econometrics and applied mathematics. He also developed professional skills in Computer Science, Data Science, computer programming (Java, Python) and cyber security.
