| Pompeo Pontone è un Accredited Investor & Investment Specialist attivo nel settore dell’Investment Management e Capital Markets da oltre 30 anni. Si laurea con lode in Economia Monetaria e Finanziaria presso l’Università Bocconi di Milano e a Londra consegue il Master of Science in Quantitative Finance del Birkbeck College, University of London. Presso lo stesso ateneo frequenta il Master of Science in Computer Science. Avvia la sua carriera presso la sede londinese di Stone & McCarthy Research Associates come analista di ricerca. Sempre a Londra è prima Managing Director - Head of Alternative Investments and Asset Management di ALTIAM - Amstel Securities LLP fino al 2011 e poi Senior Financial Advisor per la Method Investments & Advisory Ltd. Dal 2013, il profilo di Pompeo Pontone si arricchisce di nuove specializzazioni nei settori della Computer Science e dell’Artificial Intelligence, anche attraverso corsi certificati presso Stanford University (Machine Learning) e University of London (Information Security). Nel corso degli anni ha promosso la nascita di numerose realtà innovative: nel 2022 PROMETEUS KC, attiva su Software Development, SaaS e Cybersecurity, e nel 2024 MONACO BYTE LABS, operante nei servizi di Software Development e Consultancy. | Pompeo Pontone is a professional investment specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the fields of Investment Management and Capital Markets. He graduated with honors in Economics from the Bocconi University in Milan in 1994, and continued his studies abroad, obtaining a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from the Birkbeck College (University of London). Pompeo Pontone started his professional career at Stone & McCarthy Research Associates in London in 1995, holding the position of Research Analyst. After this experience, he came back to Italy and joined Unicredit in Milan, where he served as a Fixed Income Analyst and contributed as well to “The Italian Treasury Bond Guide” and “Investment Strategies: Financial Newsletter” publications. In 1998 he moved to Ireland to join Pioneer Investments, a Dublin based firm specializing in investment funds management, holding the role of Vice President and Senior Fund Manager. His following professional experience was in Intesa Asset Management (known today as Eurizon - Intesa San Paolo), where in 1999 he was named Director - Co-Head of Credit Portfolios & Asset Management. He continued his career in the financial world between 2001 and 2010, when he held top management roles at investment institutions. He was first appointed Managing Director - Head of Corporate Bonds & Credit Derivatives Asset Management at Fineco Asset Management (2001-2002), and then Managing Director - Head of Corporate Bonds & Credit Derivatives Proprietary Trading of BMPS in London (2002-2010). He continued to work in the capital of England until 2012, serving first as a Managing Director - Head of Alternative Investments and Asset Management at ALTIAM - Amstel Securities LLP and then as a Senior Financial Advisor at Method Investments & Advisory Ltd. Pompeo Pontone specialized in trading of financial derivatives and is active in projects concerning Data Science, FinTech, Blockchain and Private Equity. Actually, he works as a consultant and investor, applying his skills in stochastic modeling, financial economics, quantitative finance, econometrics and applied mathematics. He also developed professional skills in Computer Science, Data Science, computer programming (Java, Python) and cyber security.
